Alcohol Consumption
Alcohol consumption’s health consequences have been a subject of epidemiological studies throughout the world. Most of the people think that consuming alcohol will only bring the bad consequences on one’s health. From the several studies in this few years, researchers stated that moderate alcohol consumed had benefits human from some aspect of health. Those who drink moderately have better health than those who drink heavily, and surprise, even better than those who don’t drink alcohol.
Alcohol is created when grains, fruits, or vegetables are fermented. Fermentation is a process that uses yeast or bacteria to change the sugars in the food into alcohol.

In chemistry, an alcohol is any organic compound in which a hydroxyl group (-OH) is bound to a carbon atom of an alkyl or substituted alkyl group. The general formula for a simple alcohol is CnH2n+1OH. Example: ethanol, the most common alcohol found in alcoholic beverage, also known as ethyl alcohol or drinking alcohol. Ethanol is a flammable, and colorless chemical compound.
Drinking alcohol offer some health benefits, especially for your heart. On the other hand, alcohol may increase your risk of health problems and damage your heart. In fact, the key to be benefit is to consume only in moderation.
Here’re some health benefits of moderate alcohol use:
· Reduce your risk of developing heart disease
· Reduce your risk of dying of a heart attack
· Possibly reduce your risk of strokes, particularly ischemic strokes
· Lower your risk of gallstones
· Possibly reduce your risk of diabetes
Although small amount in alcohol may benefit human’s health but there is a group of people who are not recommended to consume alcohol.
· Who are younger than legal drinking age
· Who are pregnant
· Individual that have a personal or strong family history of alcoholism
· Individual that have a personal or strong history of breast cancer
· Individual that have had hemorrhagic stroke
· Individual that have liver or pancreatic disease
· Individual who operate potentially dangerous equipment or machinery
· Individual who are taking meditation
As summary, do not try to use alcohol if you did not take it before. And if you are drinking alcohol, it is best to do in moderation. Moderation means the drinking is not getting you intoxicated, or drunk, and you are drinking not more than 1 drink per day if you are a woman and no more than 2 if you are a man. Please do remember, small dose of alcohol can benefit your health but consume it heavily will definitely harm you.

The uses of coke: rust remover
Coca-cola also is called Coke, a carbonated drink that is dark brown in color. Nowadays, people often drink the coke daily but drinking coke daily is not good for human health. Why drinking the coke daily is harmful to human health? The reason is due to the acids which are the constituent of the coca-cola. The Coca-cola contains a lot of constituents that is sugar, caffeine, water, alcohol, orange oil, lemon oil, vanilla and others but the mainly constituent are acids. These mainly acids had already make the coke useful for human. For example, human use the coke as stain remover, for cleaning the rust metals, temporary cure of asthma and others. The uses of the coke which I choose from many of them are cleaning the rust metals.
Why the coke can
clean the rust metals? This is because the carbon dioxide is mixed with water
which both is found in coke to produce the carbonic acid. These forming of
carbonic acids cause the rust metals such as iron to oxidize when it reacted
with oxygen. This is why the rust is called iron oxide. The ‘reduction’ is formed
when the carbonic acid reverses this reaction (oxidation).
The coke also
contains the phosphoric acid which is used for rust removal. Phosphoric acid is
the basis of Naval Jelly, a commercial product used for rust removal.
Phosphoric acid dissolves the iron oxide quickly while the metallic iron etches
slowly so metal will have little damage when it reacted with phosphoric
acid.
Besides, the acids
that found in coke also contribute some hydrogen to metal structure. The
hydrogen which produced inside the coke will weaken the iron by hydrogen
embrittlement. So, human can always use the coke as much as time you want due
to it is absolutely to remove the rust. In conclusion, the phosphoric acid and
carbon dioxide which found in the coke make a great combination of rust burner
solution.

Nowadays, people tend to consume foods
and drinks that help to build a healthy and stronger body. Apple cider vinegar
is one of the choices. Apple cider vinegar is made by fermentation of apple
cider. During the first fermentation process, bacteria and yeast breaks down
the sugar in apple cider into alcohol. The alcohol is then broken down into
vinegar in the second fermentation process. Apple cider vinegar contains a

needed to spread throughout the mixture by stirring it daily and by letting
fresh air reach the fluid throughout a cheesecloth filter. This cheesecloth is
used in place of a regular lid. The temperature of fermenting cider should be
kept between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit(F). One thing to remind here is do
not use a metal container when making vinegar, acid in the mixture may corrode
metal or aluminum objects.
To produce a high quality cider vinegar,
you should
- Make a clean cider from ripe apples.
- Allow yeast fermentation to take part (change all of the fruit sugar to alcohol.)
- Allow acetic acid fermentation to take part (change all the alcohol to acetic acid.
- Clarify the acetic acid to prevent further fermentation and decomposition

acts in part as a prodrug
to salicylic acid, it is probably best known for its use in anti-acne
treatments. The salts and esters
of salicylic acid are known as salicylates.
Salicylic acid has the formula C6H4(OH)COOH,
where the OH group is ortho to
the carboxyl group.
It is also known as 2-hydroxybenzoic acid. It is poorly soluble in water (2 g/L
at 20 °C). Aspirin
(acetylsalicylic acid or ASA) can be prepared by the esterification
of the phenolic
hydroxyl group of
salicylic acid with the acetyl
group from acetic anhydride
or acetyl chloride.
ln modern medicine, salicylic acid and its
derivatives are used as constituents of some rubefacient
products.
When buying a skin care product, we must
